KiteBoarding 4 Cancer

Hello,

Thanks for dropping by, I’m getting ready to drive to the gorge from Seattle.  I will be participating in a  Big event this week in Hood River OR, August 7,8,9.
And I wanted to share this with all my internet friends. Please help in this fight, it could one day save the life of someone close to you.  With that said I would like to introduce to KB4C.ORG

The Mission of KB4C

Kiteboarding 4 Cancer is dedicated to bringing the healing power of wind and water to those affected by cancer through funding of advocacy, awareness, and prevention programs.

It began from personal experiences with cancer.

Professional kiteboarding instructor and advocate for the sport, Tonia Farman, watched her brother, Scott, battle Leukemia for a year. From May 2006-June 2007, Scott braved chemotherapy, radiation, and clinical study tests that no human being should ever have to endure.

KB4C has teamed up with the John Wayne Cancer Foundation, Celilo Cancer Center, Children’s Healing Art Project (C.H.A.P.) and Children’s Hospital Seattle Child Life Program in an effort to raise money for cancer research and awareness. These organizations were chosen for their outstanding commitment, energy, and allocation of resources and
donations going directly to research and clinical studies for finding a cause and cure for cancer.
